Create new thread?

I have just spent the last two hours trying to compose a new thread without success. All I want to do is insert two photographs at different positions within the text. Problem is, when using "insert picture from photo album" it insists on placing the pic at the END of my text instead of putting it where I want it to go at the blinking (sic) cursor. Its driving me nuts! I have been using IT stuff for many years but this is as bad as Windows 3 (and that was VERY bad). The other thing as you can see is that I have no idea how to start a new paragraph other than copying and pasting from a word processor. If this website had a neck my hands would be round it now. Can't you just move the text

after inserting the photo?

In the normal entry window you can write a load of stuff and then hit return and get

an extra blank line (annoying)
but shift + space did a plain single return without blank line.

Its also possible to just click on the photo once you have added it to the thread and drag it to where you want.

New Paragraph, just hit the return key.

Hi Rik,
I've just been playing round with insering pictures from an album and they seem to be inserted at the point where the curser is. I will now move the curser to the very start (Before "Hi Rik&quot and try to insert a picture. It looks like it has worked in the typing window. Now I will add this posting and see if it still looks the way I expect it to.
To get a single return pres shift and return.
