      Oh well – I have to apologize. I did a few more experiments, and found out where the secret hides. Yes, there is a small button on the CrealityPrint slicer to connect the printer. I could send a print file to the printer downstairs, only I could not start the print. I had to do that manually on the printer. But maybe I will find out also how that works.

      At least it seems I don’t need Neil’s help, atm.

        In another thread, I suggested Orcaslicer as an alternative to Cura et al.  The latest version V1.9 is out and that has a printer profile for both the Creality K1 and K1 Max.

        It is based on Prusa slicer and Bambu slicer and can be downloaded at the links towards the bottom of this page:
