Hi all,

Roger the shrubber here! When I'm not chastising passing kings for saying 'Ni' at will to old ladies I work as a design technology technician in a community school and college – a fairly new experience for me coming from a manufacturing (quality control) background.

Thought i'd say hello as I may be pestering some of you in the future for some of your top tips and advice regarding all things engineering!

Working in a school has been very interesting to say the least…today I saw a student using MT drift as a centre-punch. I'm pretty sure that's not what its for

Welcome aboard, you will find no shortage of people willing to advise and help you out. Most of the advice will be sound but there are often many ways to achive a solution so the advice is likely to vary between contributors, as they say 'There's more than one way to skin a cat'.

That said have fun and keep those youngsters under control, if that is at all possible.
