Edit: Doh. My mistake it's a fretsaw, without the arms. How disappointing.

A Cowells Die Filer cam into the Men's Shed today, in rather rusty condition.
Comprising a steel plate over a fully enclosed alloy base with a small mains motor sticking out the back that makes it tip over.

      Anyone got one?

I didn't take photos expecting to find some on the forum already and all over the web. But google finds nothing and Tony's site has no mention.
I must double check but I am sure it was Cowells cast into the base.

More tomorrow – or when the forum returns – keeping you on tenterhooks.

It would be well worth trying to make a replacement arm.
I have one myself (£10 from a scrapyard) and now it’s cleaned up, it works very well.
Mine is screwed to a length of wood to make a baseplate, and saves it toppling over backwards.
Cowells still sell them, at a scary price; £769 + VAT
