I have put two photos in my album showing a simple cooling system made for my bandsaw.
All you need is tank, can be an old saucepan, plastic box, paint drum ect
Pump from dead washing m/c+ supply tube from same m/c
Few standard pipe fittings.
Pump is fitted to base of tank, tube from pump outlet back up to play on sawblade. Oil flows from drip tray back to tank, which is mounted on bottom shelf of sawunit.
It,s simple,cheap,and it works.
It,s called "The Economy Model " Try it !
Pictures might not be too clear, but the idea is ;Drip tray over tank over pump, then outlet from pump back to top..
Pump is wired to saw switch, one on,both on.
A tank holding about 1 gallon is big enough for saw, for lathe use 2 gallons is better.
