Hi,

While the website is still being worked on, is it possible to copy all new posts to a central forum? Maybe called AllPosts? Part of the problem at the moment is that each of the forums need to be opened to check what’s new. I know that there is the Latest Replies section, but you need to log in to use it and I only want to do that if I have something to say.

You do not need to open each forum to see what is new.

Click Forums on the green bar

You will then get a screen come up with the forum headings.

Either click the blue box at the top “latest replies” or scroll down to below the advert at the bottom of the forum headings list

There you will find a list that is basically the same as the old “latest posts”. Click the date/time of the last reply to be taken to that reply or the heading to go to that active topic.

Having read that topic you do not need to return to the previous screen, again just scroll down below the reply box and advert and you will see the list again.

EDIT. Also possible to view “latest Replies” without the need to log in, it’s been that way for several days now.

Hi Alan C, as far as I’m aware, you only need to log in if, you wish to make a reply, look at profiles including your own, look at or send messages, respond to classifieds or view the Archives if you have a subscription to them.

@jasonB except, that when logged out, you may well not get a current view of latest replies, as per the screenshot below.
I’ve tried to explain this several times previously without many people picking up on it.
I’ve just logged out, Clicked Forums on the green bar and am presented with this list below the Forums display.

Note the time of the actual screenshot, and the time of the Latest Reply

When logged in, you do get an up to date Latest Replies list, along with the inherent delay

It’ll not be a problem now; I think I’ve given up trying to highlight and explain issues.
