This is rather embarrassing …

Does anyone recognise this little connector ?

There is a ferrite cylinder towards the other end of the lead, then an ordinary Type_A USB plug … but I simply can’t remember what this end plugs into

.

Tentative suggestion:

Uniden BCD396XT non-standard “USB” cable and a source of connectors.

That does look remarkably similar … Thank you

I have had quite an assortment of cameras and GPS units over the years, so I will put it safely to one side for now.
