Lots of articles that have been printed in past issues of the magazine will be scanned and OCR’d into articles on this web site. The site does not offer the easy option of putting up loads of PDF’s. Only articles that we own copyright to can be put on the web but I do have lots of letters from readers that allow me to put their articles onto the web.

At last a home away from home!

 

Although I’ve around 30 yrs woodturning, I am a real beginner when it comes to metal.

Naturally the first thing was to buy a ton of books, and ME and MEW. Then read, read,read.

 

Finding model engineer nutcases in Ireland is not too easy so this site will, I’m sure, provide a welcome comfort blanket.

 

Thanks to David and the backroom boys (there usually are some) who have set this up.

Hi Maurice

The ads are only on the right hand side of the forum postings in the new layout,

Try hitting the key combination "ctrl -" a couple of times, that will shrink the size of the screen content and with a bit of luck the ads will start to appear. The combination "ctrl +" has the effect of magnifying the screen content – useful for when looking at fine detail or small print.
