CBD oil

Like myself there no doubt are a number of members with aches and pains and other ailments life throws at you, has anyone tried CBD oil and if so how would you rate it ?

Years ago I suffered back long term back pain .Boots  BK pills (from memory ) cured it like magic, but they seem no longer available. They were based on juniper oil.

As pain makes life miserable, I’d say CBD is worth trying after all else fails.  Tests show it to be pharmacologically active, so not just a folk remedy reinforced by wishful thinking.

Whether a drug works for an individual or not depends entirely on what’s wrong with them.   My current ailment is manageable with Paracetamol,  which didn’t work last year on a muscular problem, whereas Ibuprofen did.   For today’s problem Doc says avoid Ibuprofen, Codeine and Aspirin at all costs.

Give CBD a try.   Big win if it works, otherwise you’ve only wasted some cash.

I tried CBD tea and didn’t notice anything significant.

At the moment I take upto 8000IU vit D with a little magnesium, zinc, K2, and also a small swig of Tumeric. I think something in that lot works – if I had to guess, I’d say vitD. I’m as pain free as I can ever remember.

If arthritis is a problem for you, try Boswellia (frankincence) capsules. It works well for me. Arthritis UK did a literature survey of alternative treatments and found that Boswellia has a relatively modest effect but is effective in the great majority of cases. I find it’s not as fast-acting as ibuprofen, but built up over a couple of days it does the job for me.

In combination with glucosamine tablets, it means I’ve managed to dodge sterioid injections so far.
