I've been a digital subscriber since February, and have been able to access the archive easily by clicking on the Magazines menu and selecting MEW.

But now, when I click on MEW, I'm asked for an email address, and a customer ID. I've never been sent a customer ID, just a subscription number.

If I click on the link to 'add MEW archive to your package', I'm taken to a site called classicmagazines.co.uk. I've been able to create a login, which confirms my subscription is still active, but nowhere does it show my Customer ID.

There's a rather unhelpful help section that shows where the cust ID is on a cover letter for print subscriptions, but nothing for digital subscriptions. I've never received anything from classicmagazines.

I phoned classicmagazines and got my customer ID from them, but when I use it to access the archive as described above, I'm told 'these details are incorrect '.

So how do I access the MEW archive?

I've e-mailed Neil for answer as a matter of urgency.

I suspect it affects everyone which is why I have asked Neil for an urgent reply.

Would have been nice to have been notified of our new Subscriber ID numbers before changing things that need the number to access

Hmm. If you've received a DD change notice to your email, you've got your new customer ID number – first few lines of the email. I can use that to successfully login to the account page on classicmagazines.co.uk, but that same number doesn't allow login to the new archive page for whatever reason.

Thank's for that Calum, I was going by what was said in the other thread, written a day after the DD notice went out.

"We are planning to send an email to everyone with Customer IDs. Currently, the only way to get it is from the cover sheet that gets posted with the magazine, or by emailing or calling customer services: 01507 52952

I'll get Neil or someone to put up a notice as to where people can now find their ID.

I phoned the customer services number and explained that I get 'These details are incorrect' when I enter my email and Customer ID.

She said that she thinks they're having a few teething troubles with it and are hoping to have it up and running by next week. We'll see…

                      Hello folks,

This has already been answered here:

FORUM DOWNTIME AND RESULTING ISSUES REPORTING

The message from Darren about the IDs is:

" We are planning to send an email to everyone with Customer IDs. Currently, the only way to get it is from the cover sheet that gets posted with the magazine, or by emailing or calling customer services: 01507 529529 – emailqueries@mortons.co.uk "

However, he has added in a later post:

" it's not working. Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier – we are working on it now and hopefully it will be up and running in the next few days "

Sorry for the inconvenience, it will be working soon.

                      Neil

Probably best to contact Pocketmags help.

I have had my subscription renewed (continuous subscription) I had a print and digital but it has been renewed as print only. After the new year I will have to contact them. With the access to digital I had the same problem and contacted the office. They were helpful but the only way I could access the digital copies was through the link that was on the email reply to me.

Hi, the standard advice is below, but you can also email subscriptions@mortons.co.uk or classicmagazines.co.uk/contact for help.

                              WHAT'S MY CUSTOMER ID?

Find you Customer ID on either the carrier sheet that comes with your magazine or your renewal letter.

Your Customer ID is 6 digits long, if your ID only has 3-5 digits, please add additional zeros '0' to bring this to a total of 6 digits, e.g. 1234 should be 001234
