Can someone make these ?

Hi all, I am more of an amateur photographer than engineer but I have done a few jobs to keep the Polaroid flag flying. There is a 34mm long claw component which like me are old and obsolete and I would like to get some made by a willing engineer. I assure that no one will be out of pocket if they undertake the project and their bonus will be my unending gratitude.

I have tried to attach pix here but I keep getting a warning saying the post is 938000 characters too long !!!!!!!!! BTW, I am in Devon.

Thanks for that Neil – I've now created an album and put pix in there.

The original part is made from cast aluminium which I guess is why cracks are so common with them. I know nothing of 3d printing but I do know that whatever these claws are made of must be able to stand up to the stress of being pulled tight to hold the film in the correct focal plane.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for your reply. I need 5 a.s.a.p to make repair existing backs and if possible another half dozen to future proof the backs. I am more than happy to re-imburse because these things are so scarce now and crazy prices for well used backs are being asked – sometimes more than £100 !!

Sorry for the delay in responding – I work permanent night shifts taking care of disabled folks.
