Can i reverse this motor ?

Ok i have googled etc etc and still cant get my head in gear.

In simple, can and how do i reverse this motor please.

I SUSPECT that swapping over the blue wire that comes from the top middle terminal to the top left terminal with the brown wire that comes from the top right terminal to the bottom left terminal will reverse the motor. DO NOT try this without verifying that my assumptions are correct.
1 Verify that the centrifugal switch is connected between the top right and bottom right terminals

2 Verify that the main winding is connected between top middle terminal and the bottom left terminal

3 Verify that the start winding is connected between top left terminal and the bottom middle terminal.

Hi Wayne

Yes you can reverse the motor, appears to be cap start so you need to establish the ends of the start winding so you can change them around, that will reverse the direction.
There may be a schematic on the net if you search.

No sticker on the inside of the junction box cover Wayne? That's usually where the diagram is.

The terminals appear to be numbered, I can see a 3 and a 4 and bottom left UI ?

Excellent chaps thanks. Once my head is straight and stopped wobbling ill see about the windings. Had a bottle to many last night.

I need to sort my head out with electrics soon enough as my workplace want me to be the maintenance chap and go on a few courses. Head aches to come i reckon, not easy to to old dog new tricks haha

U1 and U2 are your run windings Z1 and Z2 are the start windings. To reverse the direction of rotation swap over Z1 and Z2. Noel.

Thank you, i had to remove the block and i managed t JUST see the tags on the cables to swap them over.
