Does anyone know how to contact Charles Woodward of Stent rebuild fame? I should like to ask him some questions … not necessarily over a cup of tea!

In the absence, thus far, of replies … may I suggest you look at this thread from the old forum:

        https://www.model-engineer.co.uk/forums/topic/stent-tool-cutter-grinder/

There might possibly be something of relevance.

        [ or maybe not ]

Sadly not, but thanks for the thought Michael.

Makes one wonder if he’s still with us. After all it’s a few years ago

            Mike,

I googled “Charles Woodward Stent tool and cutter grinder” and it came up with (among others) this copy of Roundhouse magazine.  It is the Rugby Model Engineering Society’s club magazine.  It is, however, dated Spring 2008.  On page 20 there is reference to the editor, Charles Woodward and gives a full postal address, telephone number and an email address.  None of which I am willing to publish here. Bearing in mind the passage of time since publication, you may or may not feel inclined to use this information.

            John

Since Charles’ address is five doors down from Mother In Law’s, I could ask SWMBO to pop around tomorrow when she visits her mum. But I’m not confident of success,

                Gents

I’m most grateful for your responses. The lengthy passage of time may well mean Charles has had to curtail his links to societies and even the Hobby itself due to age, as indeed Harold Hall has had to.

I’ll PM you both individually if I may.

                Thanks

                Mike
