Hi, this is a call out to anyone who owns a butch locomotive. On my butch the grate is held in place by the ash tray that in turn is held in place by a treaded stud and nut.  This means that to clean out the grate one needs to crawl around underneath to undo the nut, withdraw the ash tray and then refit the whole lot again. Is there a way to just fit a pin to hold the ash tray in place. Or in fact any way to improve removal of the grate and ash tray. Thanks

I don’t own one, but it sounds like it could quite easily be an R clip instead, would make life far easier.

Mine has a small Z shaped lever that is mounted on the backhead that holds up the back of the grate. Noel.
