Yesterday my friend Dave came to see me and we bored out the cylinder of his 1930 Lister "D" type petrol engine,
He had aquired a 0.040" oversize piston, so we bored it to fit that,
Original bore size was 3".
We used my TOS FA3A mill , with a carbide tipped boring head,
This is the second one we have bored out, the first one was bored and a liner pressed in with a Churchill hydraulic press, and used the original standard sized piston.
