Hi. Does any one know where I can purchase a boiler water level gauge threaded 5/16" X 40 TPI. I've tried all the suppliers I know.

There is treaded 5/32" and 1/8" for water gauge, why mot make an adapter to make connection between boiler and water level gauge?

Wait a little, it is not common with 40 treads in 5/16" water gauge, mostly used 5/16"x32 as here: **LINK**

Maybe you must replace the old bushings at the boiler to the new bushings with 5/16"x32 to use the watergauge with 5/16"x32.

RA Baker make theirs to order so should be able to do you one with a non standard thread but they are 3-cock ones so quite pricy

The other option would be to buy a 1-cock gauge from someone like steamfittings with a 3/8 threda and machine that down to 5/16 and thread it yourself

Or just make one yourself, I did for the minnie in my avitar

                Ian,

You might try contacting Andy Probyn at MaxiTrack/Maidstone Engineering **LINK**

Couple of years ago I needed a water gauge with a non standard size thread and they made one up for at no or very little extra cost. It was delivered within a week of ordering.

                Regards Luigi.

Thanks to you all for your advice, I now have several options to consider.

                  Regards Ian
