It may just be that I have led a sheltered life, but I don’t know exactly what’s so special about these:

Can some Auto-Electrics guru please explain ?

Edit: __ although not exactly the same model … ebay informs me that they are resettable

Edit: __ and this probably explains the ‘Ignition Protected’ claim:

… So this could be a very short Topic 🙂

Had a quick Google and found the gloso website, what you have is a circuit breaker not a fuse.

As others have said resetable, hence the button on top and protected by the molding. Yes a circuit breaker NOT a fuse ! Noel.

… Yes, one of those others was me 🙂 🙂

The bit that had mostly aroused my curiosity was wondering exactly what the potentially ambiguous words  IGNITION PROTECTED actually meant … but thanks to BlueSea I think I understand that too.
