Black dye for anodising?

Can anyone recommend a black dye for use in anodising, Preferably one that they have experience of. My usual dye has been “reformulated” and no longer works.

I’m using Barvic Ano-Dye P906, I have parts that’s held up to marine conditions for more than 10 years without fading. I suspect it’s what Chronos is selling but you will have to give them a call to find out:

I used the Gateros dye from ebay on my Hemingway centring microscope :

Comes as a powder to be dissolved in water.

Gave a good solid black (the objective lens holder is chemically blackened brass, not anodised ally)
