      Anyone recognise this tool? It says on the back “Black & Decker 1 3/4″ 30degree Use by Hand”. Central hole is 1/2″. No part number.
      The 7 inserted teeth are serrated on the leading edge.

      My initial guess is some sort of chamfer / deburr tool for plastic drain pipe.

      Google image search sort of pointed to a video in German but it didn’t actually include an image of the device – google fail.

        Tidy that picture up a bit, and you might get better results … as did I

            Yes, I have one myself, though I’ve never used it.
            B&D also made valve grinding machines too.

                Thanks, that explains the video link I mentioned that was about boring seats just not using the cutter. Maybe it flashed up a picture of the cutter that was just enough for the machines to latch onto. That in itself is interesting.

                  Yes, interesting … because there is a notion in psychology about the ‘cognitive reference frame’ and you have basically demonstrated that the machines work in roughly the same manner.
