Hi all well thank you again I never tried to see if the mating surfaces sealed as GB Boilers had so hard problem trying to g them to seal did not want to take the chance of them leaking.
I used gasket paper on the joints on the flat surface used the copper silicone on both faces then used the bearing seal on the threaded part.
As a novice trying to learn from so many mistakes trying to avoid problems to save headaches later.
After stripping it down so many times because of the boiler leaks I have had many weeks of thinking and so many suggestions I have tried to work out what would be best for me.
I am just hoping I have gone down the right road as I have made all new fittings and pipes taking extra care to get as good as I could do.
Going to try fit the boiler Lagging and cover today and do some final checks before taking to club Sun to do final test see if all is ok.
Getting exited never thought I would get this far so soon as did 10 hours yesterday and about 4 wed
It would be real nice if I could put the boiler into the frames on Monday if all goes ok Sunday.
Many thanks
Ron
