I've converted quite a few folk over the years on to what I consider is the best timewasting website on t'interweb ever : https://xkcd.com. Your head has to be in a certain place to really understand it, but I think his poem 'Find You' is a classic that can be appreciated by anyone.

Now I've found another : https://www.damninteresting.com

Exactly what it says on the tin, damn interesting. It's like those Readers Digest condensed books that I used to read in the dentists waiting room & I've yet to find an article that I found boring.
