Having been bit before, I have learned not to buy materials or start a project until the series is completed. Many things can happen to delay or stop a series, many of them completely beyond the mag’s control. If you are really patient, wait a year after the series, that way you can read about at least some other builders’ joy/agony with good drawings/ones with lots of errors. If you are really patient AND hate wasting time, wait the year, then draw everything up yerself on CAD, to make sure it all works out. I do this, and so far so good. If there’s an error after laying out in CAD I have only meself to blame. Over the years, I have found a TON of errors in many published drawings from many sources while drawing/modeling them in CAD.
