I acquired an Astra l2/l4 milling machine yesterday with the knuckle vertical head. All the pictures I’ve seen of these show a simple pulley arrangement, but this one is back-geared giving a really useful low range which allows larger cutters to be used.

Does anyone have a user manual or parts list for the L2/L4? It doesn’t matter if it’s for the regular non-geared type. Whilst not necessary for the operation, I like to have manuals with my machines just out of interest.

If anyone has owned one of these machines do you have any tips?
