Archive access going forward

Can I resurrect my query in the Subscriptions – Going Forward thread where it seems to have got lost amongst the thread drift from Direct debits to masthead design.

I have a rolling DD subscription to MEW and one of the most useful features of my subscription is access to the archives from which I can dig out ideas.

What will happen to archive access when the magazines are combined? Will my existing MEW  subscription provide access to both archives? That would be a real bonus.

Apologies if I have missed some  announcement post giving this information.

Don’t think you’ve missed anything.

I asked the Subs Lady the same question when cancelling The Railway Magazine a few days ago and she didn’t know.    I said I’d wait and see what happened and sort it out later if necessary.

I expect given the hint she will find out what the deal is in due course, but at the moment this is an unresolved detail.   Unless someone asked more recently and it’s fixed now?

Someone is writing the blurb that goes out to paper customers.   Fingers crossed the answer will be in that.

As the two titles are effectively merging a subscription to the new combined magazine should logically get you to both sets of archives. I feel it would be exceptionally remiss for this not to be the case and I fully expect that to happen as it would be a sales advantage at no cost.
