          It looks American early to mid-20th Century. Have a look around on lathes.co.uk and you might find it. Those legs are a distinctive shape.

                Welcome to the Forum.

                Am sure that someone will, help identify your lathe.

                Far from an expert, but looks more late 30s, 40s to me.

                Search "Lathes UK" or contact Tony to see if it can be recognised.

                Once identified, there will probably be lots of info on there.

                  It does look a bit Logan-esque with that big round cross slide handle, but the single-selector-lever leadscrew gearbox and those two pivoting levers on the side of the headstock don't match Logan pics you see. And those massive legs with the half round cutouts at the top are a design of their own.

                  You might try asking on the Homeshop Machinist forum and the Practical Machinist forum as they are US based and may know more of old US lathes.

                    Try 'lathe, metal' here;

                    ..always amazed by the sheer quantity of American manufacturers..

                        The lathe looks like a LeBond Regal to me.

                          + 1 for LeBlonde Regal.

                          The top of the headstock is pretty distinctive.

                          Most likely WW2 vintage as many were bought over during the war.
