Any Book Recommendations on Microstructure of SS

Hi, I want some book suggestions to have a grip on microstructures and crystallography. I need something specific and easy to comprehend.

You may find your two requirements mutually excluding. However "Engineering Materials, Properties and Selection" by Kenneth Budinski published by Reston is my main source. Latest editions may be a little pricey, but there seems to be some earlier editions available at a sensible price. You should be aware that this is an American publication, but it's still very usable.

You could try "Metallurgy for Engineers" by E C Rollason. I still have a copy from 1964 when I did my degree and I do refer to it occasionally.

There are several on ebay for not a lot of money and at least it will get you started.
