Annus Horribilis

Had my own ‘annus horribilis’ and only two days into the new year ! Yesterday afternoon the wife noticed water in the cupboard under the sink managed to get down and found a ‘pin pick’ leak in pipe just above the stopcock managed to get it fixed first thing this morning, second problem and I won’t bore you with all the detail over the holiday my month old fridge freezer got colder and colder despite the thermostat being turned right down phone the number on my paperwork after 4 attempts got to talk to someone whom I could not understand they asked for serial number which I gave only to be told wrong number in the end I took a photo of the plate and sent it to them only to be told the info plate was not correct and suggested my fridge was bogus needless  to say I’ll be in that well know retailer first thing in the morning. Wife came to do evening meal only to find the left hand side of our Ninja not working so putting the leaky copper pie aside it is about 45 yrs old the Ninja purchased in October and the Fridge freezer 33 days old.

What can one say other than roll on tomorrow might be a better day 🙁

Yes, but be cheered by the thought that bad things tend to occur in threes. So you should be ok for the rest of the year now. Happy new year

Returned to that well know retailer from whom i purchased my faulty Fridge/Freezer where a very nice assistant sorted out my problem but never the less amusing when the assistant was talking to the manufacture they asked him to ask me how did I know it was getting to cold ‘eggs were freezing’ was my reply they then asked have I tried to turn it down I just gave the assistant one of those puzzled looks. Coming out next Wednesday could be interesting day.
