A professional tester wil want a few hundred pounds. If you are in a club have a word with the club inspector as they may not want to test a boiler that has stood so long. Either way both are likely to want to see the boiler with cladding off and maybe the hornplates removed as well which is a lot of hasstle.
There is also the worry about how the steel has stood upto 40 odd years use or standing around, more than liekly its suffered too much wasting (rust internally)
Even if it were OK the thicker steel plate that should have been used will mean a reduced boiler and or firegrate capacity.
