Licence only. NO MAINTENANCE but a bargain at that price

Download the trial and check your computer runs it ok

My own computer only ran the full Alibre-Design trial version, not the atom 3D version, the licence restricts any extra options once an Atom licence is purchased

If you want into CAD-world on the cheap then this is your moment

edit: They've also got the top version licence at £1238 which is making me grind my teeth…

They add 20% VAT to the price when you checkout! So its £180 .. Sneaky!!

Presumably they charge VAT separately so they can respond to foreign orders … and they do clearly state that VAT will be added at checkout so I can't see it as sneaky.

That's tempting. I'm starting to remember why I didn't get very far with Fusion 360 last time I tried it.

You will also get the latest V27 update which came out a couple of days ago.

Thanks Jason that's made my mind up. I'll have a go at it.

You export your Alibre file to .stl and load it into cambam for toolpaths and g-code (another 100 but most of these CAM programs want 500)

                      I use GRBL 32 bit

I load it the STL into Fusion and get my code for free.

Alternatively Atom Workshop which combines Atom3D and MeshCAM would take care of the CAM at a reasonably low cost.
