I am sure that when the albums first appeared you could rate the pictures and also click an arrow to move to the next one in an album.

The first of these is just harmless fun and not greatly missed, but losing the second makes going through a set of pictures much more tedious than it would otherwise be as you have to keep going back to the ‘contact sheet’ page.

          Hi Neil

Just looked at the albums page and you can still do both of those things. Small arrows at bottom corners of photo to move backwards and forwards through the album and you can click on the stars to vote. If you’re logged in a posting box also appears under the picture.

At least that’s the situation 2 minutes ago on my computer. Could the problems be with your set-up?

Hi, just looked at one of Stub’s albums and can’t see any arrows to move backwards and forwards, what settings would need adjusting?

                Hi Tony

Just looked at a couple of Stub’s albums myself and all is fine – arrows there, everything. So sorry can’t suggest what settings need changing. I’m using Opera as a browser and it seems fine. My usual approach when I get a hiccup like this is to close the program with the fault and then re-open to see it it clears with the re-load. If that doesn’t do it then re-boot the computer, first of all the “official” way, then if necessary control, alt, delete and work from there. All the above assume that I haven’t fiddled with something myself and altered a setting, in which case a careful re-tracing of steps might be the answer.

Why do computers give problems – because they can!!!!

Hi Niel, yes arrows ect. all show when I look, however if you clik the “show full size” tab then you get no arrows or anything but the current picture. Maybe yours is going stright to the full size picture for some reason.

                    Regards Nick.

It’s my wonderful adblock add-in for Firefox. It’s stopping 25 of 53 objects ona typical page on this site… but alas this includes the arrows and stars!

However I can work round this.

                      Thanks
