In another thread (I’ve forgotten which) recently there was some discussion about disappearing posts, this is not about posts but rather about images that dont appear in some posts.

The last post in the screenshot below shows that Michael did place an image (as he did in a previous reply) but all I see is the placeholder. I see this several times a week.

Agreed. I’m sure we were all told not to take candy from strangers, but cookies from a server is usually fine. Or at least the battle is lost, cookies are here to stay. If you want more privacy it’s possible to block third-party cookies. Or just suffer in silence, no point bringing this up every time somebody posts a link.
