      Hi David,

As you may know I am a frequent "user"of our Website but I have a problem with reading the text because the advertising banner is partly covering the text. Is this a problem or setting of my computer or is this a problem for the web designer? The added document is only an example of the problem. I have the fault on almost every page.

      Regards, Johan.page003.jpg

          Johan,

You don't say if you are using a PC/Mac, which operating system and version …. or what Internet browser you are using.

If you you are using Windows and using IE8 or 9 then try setting compatability mode.

It also happens if someone posts a picture that is too wide, but only in some circumstances, I think it happens when a picture is linked from some hosting sites.

I bet if it were the other way around with the text covering the Paying Adverts something would be done pretty quickly……..

That is probably the most relevant and true comment that has ever been posted on this subject!

                            Roy,

In IE8 there is a icon (like a torn sheet of paper) to the right of the box that you enter the web address into.
