The Jan 10 edition has the adverts dispersed throughout the copy, with concentrations at either end. This is a change from the previous practice and to me means that I tend to skip/ miss some ads because I am reading the article. It suppose it probably makes the layout easier to do as ads can be used as space fillers rather than having to find short articles, hints and tips as fillers. It may even have a psychological/ commercial benefit for the advertisers, but if so it’s beyond me.
It’s not a big thing but I preferred knowing that all the ads were at either end and I could go there and hopefully find what I sought.
What do others think?
