Yes! A real challenge to reproduce this wonderful small machine.
It will be a streamline version not a clone. If you have seen my success
at my 1st tool and cutter (See album) a simplified version of the Deckel SO
and Quorn.
The main hurdle to overcome would be the Y axis. The table will be jackup using
a screw nut, got the idea from Trent pinion cutter from Hemingway kits.com. The
other is to select the best gib whether plain strip brass plate or tapered gib.
Still at drawing board stage, got some manual downloads for Aciera and Deckel FP1
recently.
