And all done on a (much modified) Chinese mini-lathe and Proxxon “milling machine”.

I was a bit suprised how easily the bolt machined – I have found modifying UK supplied smaller diameter stainless bolts put up more of a fight that that appeared to.

My small four jaw chuck for the Stuart lathe as well as 3mm 4mm and 5mm collets.

 

 

 

 

sorry about leaving the chuck key in but it does turn metal and the three collets work very well with drawbar etc. Sorry also about the drill chuck but it is the smallest one I could find.
