This has been another difficult year and I know many of us will not be able to celebrate as we would like, and some will be facing Christmas without people they had hoped to spend it with.

Not withstanding ongoing uncertainties, this is a time for optimism, hope, friends and family, while remembering those less fortunate than ourselves.

May I wish all readers of the magazines and members of the forum and their families a peaceful and enjoyable Christmas, and the very best for the future.

I originally produced the picture below for Christmas 2021, I think bright lights shining in the dark is fitting for this year as well.

My allegedly grown up children have all been naughty this year (I don't know what they've done, but they probably do). Because I'm looking after the environment, I'm putting a rechargeable battery in each of their Crhistmas stockings this year instead of a lump of coal. The coal will be reserved for steam raising.
