4hp Baker Ball Hopper Monitor Model/Build

I have been working on creating a 3D model for a Baker 4hp Ball Hopper Monitor, at 42% scale, which gives 12″ diameter flywheels.

JasonB has give a lot of good feedback on this design, as have several owners of original full-sized 4hp Ball Hopper Monitors.

I am very pleased with where I am on this design.

The intent is to 3D print the patterns for this engine, and cast it in gray iron.

I have always admired the looks of this engine, and it has been on my “must build” list for many years.
