4ba one-size-smaller half nuts

Does anyone know where I can get 4BA half-nuts, one size smaller?

I can get one-size-smaller, and I can get half nuts, but not both at once.

Hi Simon

How about machining them to correct thickness on a lathe etc. Hold them on a screw locked to other nuts and just face to length.

I think you may be asking the impossible impractical, Simon

Have you compared the thickness of a half 5BA nut with the pitch of 4BA ?

P.S. Skimming down some full nuts to a realistic height might be the best option.

I never buy locknuts. just reduce the height of standard ones.

Alternatively, buy 5BA and retap them 4BA.

Simon, I think you need these, **LINK** and then plane them down to the required thickness as David suggests
