3D printed Telescope

I made this around a £15 70mm achro lens of good quality.

The idea for using metal strips as rail for a crayford focuser came from user Chriske on Stargazer's lounge. I upgraded to aluminium extrusion rather than brass shim, it's clipped in place rather than glued. All held together with M3 screws except the internal cap on the focus tube which is glued in place.

Thanks Rod, the tube aluminium

I'm going to reprint the focuser in black, partly to give a little more clearance for the focus tube and partly to do a thicker walled print – it's flexing slightly under the pressure needed for positive drive. Partly for aesthetic reasons!
