      Hi

Found this link on another Forum and felt it should be shared to anyone interested,

      3D Face Mask Instructions

The link takes you to a description page and print instructions with a further link to the STL file.

The build area required is 185mm x 215mm

The Transparent sheet can be any suitable A4 or Letter size clear film.

I shall be printing some off for ourselves and friends. My mother wants one when answering the door to the delivery drivers.

      Stay Safe

      Steve

Without wishing to pour cold water on the laudable efforts described here, wouldn't it be quicker to make/print some simple clips to attach the transparent sheet to a readily -available baseball hat? Just a thought. Of course, you'd have to teach the younger generation to wear it the right way round!

            John

I'll get me coat – and hat.

I'm currently printing my number 10 as part of this initiative:

When I have a box of 20 bagged up, DPD will collect them and take to a central location for having shields and straps added then sending out to hospitals.

Or even a construction workers hard hat, there's loads of them about and you can easily wash them. Opened up pop bottles would do for the visor at a push.

A little help from the great collective please.

I'm trying to print the Visor headbands from the N3DPS using my Factory 3D Printer, which I know a few others have got also.

I printed the first few with no issues, but then switched from PLA to PETG as requested; I ran out of PLA anyway. It's tougher and apparently much better for the purpose.

I am struggling to get a reliable set of settings and it's very frustrating. Typical issues are that prints will have a few holes in the top and sides, but a perfect base.

Anyone got any cura slicing settings and temperature advice? Bed – 70 and filament temp – 255 is required to get a strong print, or it delaminates.

                  Any suggestions gratefully accepted
                  Cheers Mark
