I am building a 5" V2 to the Michael Breeze drawings and they show one mechanical lubricator between the frames driven from the crank axle eccentric. But with three steam pipes to supply I am not sure if that is a good idea.
A single Reeves standard pump is called up, but there are no actual details of the lubricator or pipes. I assume there would be a single manifold with three supplies. If one of those pipes gets starved you would never know it and the risk of imbalance may be high. Has anyone come across this or am I worrying unnecessarily?
Maybe a three piston pump is the answer, but there is not a lot of room where the lubricator is drawn?
Any advice wold be appreciated.
Thanks
John
