          Neil,

Who makes JOCOB chucks ?? I`ve heard of Jacob chucks, in fact I`ve got a few of them, but I`ve never come across Jocob before. (see Page 5)

            Alan,

It's so you don't get them mixed up with the cream cracker people.

Mind you most of the chucks I have had from these people were cream crackered wink

How many chucks could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck chucks?

Neil is this only going to be available in paper format or can it be bought as a one off digital version?

Might be an idea to link the 'Advert' on the home page to the contents area of your "sneak pre-view" though Neil – I initially assumed that the two were the same.

Please please don't pulp them. We`d all have to wait longer for our copies.

Anyway, to quote a very old engineers saying "The man who never made a mistake, never made anything".

Will this special issue be sent to ME and MEW subscribers or is this a separate purchase?

Hello Mike, it's a separate publication.

I should add that it's got a lot more feature pages than an issue of MEW, than even the new, longer, MEW.

Congratulations should go to the creative team at MHS who did an amazing job of recovering quality graphics from scans of old issues – as you can imagine the master artwork from the days of pasting up on a board an blue pencils is long since gone. We did cheat for the cover – Harold Hall kindly supplied a scan of one of his original prints

One would hope that it will be available from the usual sources, WHS, as well as from the publishers. I am really quite interested in the article on Dill grinding, see the second link.

Original issues were quite good, trouble was whoever was employed to "Digitise" them for the "Digital library" made a right (and left) pig's ear of it.

Naturally it will be, but as you can imagine it's better for us if you buy direct!

Naturally a 'best of' publication is mostly reprints, but all reset and I would argue much better looking in a contemporary style.

There are three completely new articles, a brief one explaining what MEW is today (aimed at readers who don't know the magazine), a retrospective by Harold Hall and a look into the future.
