More to the point is whether it complies with BS 1363 (which certainly does specify dimensions).

      .

It makes no claim to dont know

Which was to some extent the point that I was making. If it is not certified to BS 1363, it should not be plugged into a BS 1363 socket, and a BS 1363 plug should not be plugged into it. It may even be an offence to supply it.

BS1363 only covers plugs, not adaptors or equipment that plugs directly into a socket. PThe latest revision of Part 2 (sockets) now allws for chargers in sockets though. There are other standards for adaptors and plug-in chargers. For example BS8546 for travel adaptors and EN 60335-2-29 for chargers.
Problem is these are all "pay for" documents, not cheap and frequently refernce further standards that you have to buy. This makes it hard for interested individuals to verify complinec of tem that they have bought.

Part 3 of BS 1363 covers adaptors.

Some, (though by no means all), library cards allow on-line access to the British Standards library.
Unfortunately Derbyshire libraries doesn't subscribe; I think Lancashire does, along with Northern Ireland but not 100% certain.
