Having bought a second hand, maybe third hand, 5″  Kings Own/Royal Engineer chassis, plans and ME articles I am part way through repairing and replacing some of the poorly made parts.
My current piece of work is a new rear cover for the piston valve on the inside cylinder, but I don’t seem to be able to find a detailed drawing of it on the plans or in the articles.
      Am I missing it somewhere?
Some of the dimensions can calculated or measured but it would be re-assuring if there was a drawing somewhere.
      Any naswers?
Good, timley responses to the simpling valve question. Many thanks.

          Hi Kevin,

Did you ever get a response to this posting ?

I’m in the process of a building a Royal Scot so may be able to help. The rear piston valve cover is detailed on the drawings – and I can send you some info over, if it’s not too late.

          Cheers
