Hi, everyone. First time on the forum for a while. The health issues which kept me out of the shop are now behind me so I’ve been tormenting bits of metal, not talking about it! However today I couldn’t get on using the new title “ME&W or  Model Engineer & Workshop” but “MEW” still works. I tried going to the bug reporting section but can’t send a screenshot and I have no idea what my browser is. I’m a novice engineer, but computing abilities are far below that!

I have been trying to log in for a week, I get as far as the “I am not a robot” box and it won’t go any further, tonight it worked immediately.

Ah! Roughly where I got to Baz Try using the old title for the mag. seemed to work for me. As I said above my online skills are far below my engineering skills. Which are at novice levels! Until the pandemic the internet was something I’d heard of but never actually seen. During lock-down I found no-one would talk to me, or send me bits, so I got a computer and went online. 2 days later we locked down again. So I was stabbing around in the dark, since no-one could show me what to do! I live alone so I was truly on my own. I have so far managed to side step one syber attack by a mixture of stupidity and incompitance and a small amount of cunning.

Like my lathe skills I keep trying things if they work great, If not well do it differently next time.

On the mag. it’s interesting to see techniques from totally un-related hobbies. As many of the technical terms go over my head I find the photos useful to see what is actually meant.
