Evening all
I have a vague memory of a rideable miniature railway which went around the first floor balcony of a London model exhibtion large hall – sometime in the 1990s, I think. I presume it was the London Model Engineering show, or a variant of it, but I can’t recall if it did a complete loop, and I’m sure it was signalled and had passing loops. I don’t know if it was 7.25″ or 5″ gauge. It wasn’t the Ickenham & District rides which were on straight track down on the lower floor – in fact that might have been Ally Pally.
Am I going mad? Was it a cheese-induced dream? If not, who built and ran it, and does anyone know what happened to it – because I would like to try and track it down.
Any leads are most welcome*.
Many thanks for letting me invade your pixels
