Hi all,

I’m trying to find some bronze round tube for the flywheels of my hoglet v twin build. Looking for a short length of 4” o/d, 3” i/d.

I’ve had a bit of a search but not found anything suitable yet. Does anyone know of a suitable source?

You can get hollow drawn bronze intended for bearings. Have a look at page 48 of the M-machine catalogue, they will cut to length. It’s what I used for mine.

Hello Jeff,

M-Machine in Darlington stock hollow leaded gunmetal bar 4″x3″ which they sell in 1 inch sections; they do mail order and I have had excellent service from them over many years.

I have bought frequently from M-Machine via their ebay site and can also recommend them highly. You never know exactly what they have for sale at any one time, I check them out regularly.
