Is anyone seeing Andy’s image?   I’m not. Only: IMG_4016What are these called and where would I get some. The lathe is a Leinen.

The forum sends the URL “https://www.model-engineer.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/hm_bbpui/temp/xhvsbvyq99i3qszksroxqa7pjzjx663e.jpg” which returns a 404 Not Found error.  It is lazy loaded.

I expect the image will appear in due course.  Pretty sure this is a forum bug, not due to anything Andy did.

And low and behold, the image is being displayed correctly!

Sorry I don’t recognise the thingy.  Is it an ornamental oiling point plug?  An earlier version of those spring-loaded ball-bearing wotsits.

It’s an oil nipple, Myford used 2BA ones but with a flat end. Leinen sound german or swiss so may use 0BA = 6mmx1. Noel.
