I’ve got some very expensive ones I was gifted that haven’t shown any signs of wear yet so I won’t be buying any replacements anytime soon! 🙂

What happens when they dcide to stop making the blades as the take up for the bodies is too low?  Remember the Fisco knife with the sliding blades?

They don’t show any views with the jaws closed. It looks to me like the cutting blade sits back from the edge of the anvil side. This means you can’t make a flush cut. I also wonder how robust the blades are. I get the feeling that even the slightest twisting force could break them.
They arn’t cheap enough to buy and try.
I’ve used Linstrom cutters for at least 40 years and don’t see any reason to change.

They seem primarily made for plastic modellers, and are essentially a smaller version of the Lidl/Aldi ones which use full size “Stanley” knife blades

That video shows damage to the blade after making about a dozen cuts of polystyrene model sprue.

                  No thanks.

I think this tells me everything I want to know about them:

P.S. __ as for the cutting geometry … simply a nicely miniaturised ‘Anvil Secateurs’
