Had a go with my new bender last night and it all seems fine but I do have some IMO qualifications
The fits and build quality can best be described as medium, you must be careful to ensure all the sections and pins are as they should be, I'm going to tweek at least one pin to give it more length when it seats into the casting
The "maximum capacities" really are on the limits of what this tool can do but it will cope very capably with lighter model engineering jobs, just don't expect it to do it's max work straight out of the box, especially if you are a heavy handed worker
With care, and some TLC, this is a phenomenally versatile tool for the workshop.
At first when you look at all the parts and fittings you wonder if you will ever figure all it's capabilities out but within an hour or so the only limit is your imagination
This is my first ever widget, a wonky 4mm round mild steel scrap wire/bar about 14 inches long was turned into a "suspension arm" with the ends at 90 degrees to one another
The wire is about the same strength as those hand grip exercise things

Final caveat, I used molegrips to tighten the clamp part, finger tightness is inadequate and the work slips
